The feedback function on the DF-2 and the Behringer equivalent is very synthetic sounding. It's nicer on the Feedbacker/Booster. But if I stack an HM-2 - which the OP mentioned - into another high gain dirt pedal, I get huge sustain and easy feedback creating capabilities.
