Nothing like having a ticking bomb that burns your customers up as a catalyst of why you went out of business.

Lol, yeah Earth had that going for it but i was under the impression it wasnt their Peavey clones that had the problems, i mean ive read that they even used thesame circuit boards as Peavey

The ones that caught fire were post peavey lawsuit. If it still is working, it's not one of those. Earth tried to make their own circuit and failed miserably. The heads to get are the tube ones. Those kick ass. The solid state like this one are equivalent to old peavey. Worth fixing if you diy, not worth it if you have to pay a tech.

Even the tube ones can be a pain in the ass. A friend had (or has?) two of them, and they have been in and out of the shop several times.

The g2000 is a fender circuit clone. If you have one, it's 40+ years old. Old amps break untill you give them a good once over

I know, 2 10s and 4 8s in each too. Im gonna make them part of a home stereo system, the GF fell in love with them the second she saw them

Yeah thats what im thinking, i might throw it on ebay for cheap. I basically picked it up because it was cheap and i couldnt test it well because of bad cables

Im lucky, she thinks old beaten dusty amps are pretty cool, which is great since thats what my house is primarily decorated in
