Ok, so I get the cat. I even get the cute pun. But I do NOT get the mermaid. That freaks me out.

Mode 2: Soda Meiser > Torn's Peaker
Rocket
Mode 1: Soda Meiser
Mode 2: Vintage Fuzz Master > Soda Meiser
I'd like to see the shirt.

musta missed this.....
the mermaid is a Day of the Dead skeleton mermaid playing a git, from Mexico. Got it b/c it freaked me out too. Never knew what to do with it so it ended up there. Figured it would honor all the dead notes that leave my amp...

I don't want to derail someone else's thread, but this blog I read a few weeks ago came to my mind while reading the sitcom thread.
http://www.amptoons.com/blog/archives/2009/06/09/freedom-of-speech-isnt-freedom-from-criticism-and-its-not-freedom-from-consequences/I'm not looking for apologies/censorship/retribution, just food for thought about the free speech we cherish here at ilovefuzz.

We hang in many of the same places ILF,HC,TGP, DAM, BJFE or wherever else, I know you wouldn't really say that sorta thing,
but it's still a very touchy subject for me so I apologize for that.
Just in the same way Dave Chapelle became uncomfortable with his show when people started using the "n word" in quoting his comedy sketches,
there comes a point where you begin to question whether people are laughing with you or at you.
Perhaps I am making a mountain out of a molehill, and I know Newark didn't mean the phrase.
Personally I wasn't that offended by the usage as I understood the context,
whatever childhood memories of racism and bigotry it later awakened are my own personal experiences which do not extend to the rest of the universe.
What I do feel is that this is a slippery slope that can get ugly very fast if we say "it's ok to use those words sometimes", be it in reference to race, gender, or species (lest we forget our furry friends).
