FWIW I would like to vote against American apparel, too small/shrinky/clingy and don't hold up very well in my experience.

Yeah I'm kind of leaning away from them as well. They've always shrunk really bad for me too

I'm telling ya man, tri blends. A little more expensive but damn if they're not the best.
I got a next level shirt recently that is better than standard AA. Didn't do the boxy shrink thing that AA tends to do when you wash it.

Haven't checked this in a while - the yellow pink combo is awesome.

Also, I'm a big, fat dude and a 100% cotton American Apparel is my favorite t-shirt by far.
Can't jive with blends and stuff that get all form fitting.

I have decided tonight that I'm pretty sure I'm gonna go with Canvas 3001's or Gildian UltraCotton. Both are 100% cotton!! I've spec'd both of them and they aren't too far from each other price wise.
