Yeah I usually play mine at a "quiet" volume but I turn up more when no one is home. Didn't notice the smell till now.
Not sure how old it is, if it's too hard to figure out I give up because I don't really care to know unless I was reselling.
457209 is the serial number.
I think it's probably from the 80s, the previous owner said it was definitely an older one

if it doesn't have those bright switches and the name on the front is in black then it's a really old one like mine. The serial numbers are generally useless for dating though.
