Been kind of pondering putting a fan on the back of my Verellen. Those 6550's and the iron make the amp fairly warm. At least it's got an open back, but still

You want to pulling the hot air out instead of blowing cold air on hot tubes. Chance of it not being friends with hot glass. It could work if it were blowing air in if it was placed in a way where it wasn't blowing directly on the tubes.
But then again, both my Traynors (YBA-3 and YBA-1A) have fans blowing....directly on the tubes

neither one seem to get to get tooooo hot though.

Thanks for the tips. My amp is solid state though, so no tubes to worry about.

you should put it in a headshell like that. And put some lights behind the milk crates.

Haha. I am both embarrassed and stoked that I have to play a show in this condition on Monday. I think it will look less silly if I can at least use milk crates of matching color.
