Can you can use the usb connection to control the parameters in realtime on your pc?

i can see myself fallin in love with these thing and getting an ipad or something just to control it.

the whammy like algorithm is a must for me. im not really interested in the modulation effects. this would be my only digital delay (i have an analog) but the pitch effects/harpeggiator is what im really after.

i havent heard anyone bring up the harpeggiator actually, amidst all the discussion everywhere.

it was between a big box hog and a pitchfactor for me (the pf had it, mainly because of the harpeggiator) before i found out about the h9.
I'm not with my board at the moment, but if my memory is correct: yes. You can use the ribbon controller as your whammy controller with an iPhone/iPad, though I use the Ernie ball volume pedal for the live feels. I believe it's the same if you have a Mac/PC hooked up via USB.

I hear you with the digi delay. The H9 has ALMOST cured my gas for a timeline. I'm a bassist and don't care for the sound of analog delay. The timefactor algos are so tweak able that I can live with them and love my tones.

I was just using the trial version of the harpeggiator last night and I love it and miss it from when I had a Pitchfactor. My issue is that I know I wouldn't use it with my bands, which is why I haven't purchased it yet. I will grab it eventually though. I use the quadravox with its flexible delay to cover my minimal arp needs right now.

I also forgot to mention that being in 2 bands, I can use my iPhone to load different presets for different set lists for each band via blue tooth. Takes a minute so I do it ahead of time just in case I'm in a pinch, but I have my 6 tones ready for my cover band and my 10 tones ready for my originals on my phone at a moments notice. This is all aside from the dozen other presets I've built for bedroom noodling. h9 truly is the present and future of multi effects. The rest of the world just needs to catch up.

sorry i worded my question poorly -

i have a couple cv controllers...my question was more - can i do everything with a pc to tweak settings that i would be able to do with a mac/iphone?

sounds like i can...

so i read that "pitchflex" is the whammy algorithm....but it's not stock. bummer.
i wont really need to buy that many, but that will def be one of them...

Ya you can control that stuff.

When you buy an h9 you get a voucher for a free algo so that would cover your pitch flex purchase.

pretty pumped man! thanks for the help. this will be the only digital effect on a very long chain of pedals. going to run it at the end of my synth chain. i dont see using it at all with my "traditional" overdrive and fuzzy pedal chain. maybe ill change my mind.

hopefully i can snag it in the next week ish for 450 or less..i hate paying full price dawg
