Yeah, I really tried to slimline. Made an effort to make the most of using less pedals cos I got sick of lugging a ton of stuff about when there's pedals that only get used once in one song or whatever.

For the longest time I kept wanting to just expand my board with more and more pedals. I need this one for that sound and that one for this slightly different sound etc.
But I realized I wasn't using half my pedals regularly so I cut back to a tiny board with some essentials
It's made playing guitar more fun and I feel less constrained by my board...even though I use less pedals....
I guess I'm just trying to say I can get behind the less is more mindset

I'm a little dissapointed this thread wasn't about toilette paper.
But yeah, I buy what makes me happy. If I want to buy something I start looking for shit to sell. End of story. My current board is built on ten years of buying and flipping pedals.

My problem is keeping it minimal when learning a new pedal so I can learn the new pedal. And restraining myself from buying more pedals while I'm in that learning process. I'm trying to do a lot of catchup lately. But I keep just about everything and have for years.

I suppose I should add that I keep bulking back up, now running 3 amps and got a new set of rack stuff for one amp.
When you have one amp just for your reverb, you know you're getting places.

If I ever got around to playing live regularly, I'd like to think a PT2 (plus expression pedals) would be enough for me. I've got 11 boxes stuffed on it right now.

Ovation acoustic was the jesus of the hair metal era.
He hasn't changed, why should the acoustic?
