I don't name them but I used to have this weird ritual where I'd sit down with every new guitar I got and watch "Spinal Tap", just so they knew what was expected of them. Stopped when I wore out the VHS tape (and stopped getting new guitars).

I named my modded jag Datsun because jaguars are big cats and my first pet was a big friendly cat whose purr was so loud that we named him after my dad's old sports car.

Nope, never named any of them, just seems really weird to me. The closest I come is referring to my Rickenbacker 4001 as "The Ricky".

I usually call my guitars by their given name. "The jazzmaster" or "jazzy". Same with my car. I call it "the shitty honda"

My old #1 strat was goldeneye, The new one has its guts. The new one however is named The Bitch Stick. Cause Chanky.

My Telecaster is known as the Doomcaster, dude to the big ass Sunn O))) sticker and the unaturally heavy sound it has for having vintage style tele pups. ( i suspect its due to the wood not being chambered.)

The acoustic is Darkside. Always has been called that.

The only guitars without a name at the moment are my les paul that I use for bowed guitar and my bass.

Only ever named one, and it's not a name so much a reminder to do the Work.

The rest are all by their models + color ("Blue mustang", "yellow Mustang" etc) in my tracking notes.

My pedalboard costs approximately 191 Metal Zones.
