I'm leaning towards that way definitely
I guess basically if it's an overdrive it needs to have something really unique about it
Like maybe the mini with the bias rolled almost all the way back, then stacking the crimson at full gain could be cool.
Anything that's too wall of fuzz won't do, as I'm generally working with dense mixes and need to stand out.

I tried 2 hours ago The crimson drive into a big muff. Cool! Need to try it at The next Band practice.
The crimson drive is pretty trebly imho. How does it work with your amp?

it works great out of my fender concert reverb
i actually returned it the first time i got the crimson because i thought it was too bright
but then i somehow missed it, got another, messed around some more and fell in love with the way it interacts with your playing
the artifacts happening when the note is decaying is beautiful
