The Shin-ei fy-6 Superfuzz....perfectly named. this beast has two knobs labeled Balance and Expander, along with a slider switch that takes the procession from a more low pass super heavy tone, into more fully balanced with an upper end presence that sorta makes the pedal sound like a chainsaw hell bent on making me smile when everything is dimed. the octave up is pretty amazing sounding adding even more harmonic content and color. doesn't seem too dependent on neck position. I played it through an original fender blues deluxe with a gibson sg std loaded with vintage paf's. So this pedal might have even more treble response on a different amp...say blackface era fender. I wonder if the univox superfuzz is the exact same circuit as the shin-ei.

In one picture.
I think you can use that skullservant app in conjunction with a youtube account to post videos straight to there.
so i just get a youtube account, and with the app send the videos to my youtube account, and then link on here? that sounds pretty easy. thanks. i really had no clue. i'll see what i can get going. any tips on recording with the iphone relative to amp distance or any tips appreciated.

Just make sure you have something decent to prop the phone up on, and record a few test videos once you get it set up to make sure it sounds decent before you upload demos. You should be good to go then!

The Roland AD-50 Double Beat is just sick. i've got to find more japanese fuzz/wah pedals this thing has me so bewildered i just dont know the meaning of life anymore. I do know there is so much awesome to this pedal....a super responsive sustain knob that when dimed takes your note and just hangs it out there in the room like feedback. then there's a volume knob.

next is a cool three way tone selector for the fuzzzz. the first setting is pretty familiar fuzzface territory, the second is more interesting adding more bass/treble definition w/out any scooop to the midrange, its also not as polite as the first stage. the third is the most aggressive sounding of the lot and perfect for single note lines, or whatever. I guess they are tone selectors, but the intensity and colour of the fuzz changes as well from smooth to buzzzzzsaw. AND then there's the wah with an ok sweep, can use it as a sort of tone control with the fuzz....sort of...not really nevermind.
Everyone should own one of these, then we can all sound the same.

The Lotus Pedal Company Orange.
Just one knob. This nails that boxy chunky fuzz tone that's not buzzy or aggressive at all. when riffin the sustain hangs just perfect into the next transient adding rich colour. its all about about the texture. lots of gain, interesting that when turning the knob the fuzz character doesn't change, it just gets BIGger. need to look inside to see whats what.
check em out.
