So buy an Orange and, like so many before you, paint it black.

Or buy an Orange in stock black tolex. They offer that option on most every model. My TH-30 is blacked out, looks quite badass.

They do indeed offer that service these days.
Blackout jobs always crack me up though.

Matamp are great guys. I talked to them about a custom job a few years back, but unfortunately it was deemed too expensive of a venture for them so nothing came of it. That aside, it was a positive experience dealing with them, they always responded to e-mails very quickly.

Matamp made some different coloured jobs, green being the most recognisable, then, many moons layer in the 90s came the divide between matamp UK and elected in the US.
In a nutshell.
Right.
Orange was a studio first.
They had Matamp make them some amps covered in orange tolex. Those are the OrMatts, aka the Pix Only.
Then they split ways, Orange started building their own amps (the Voice of The World amps are the first ones of these) and Matamp continued being a rad custom shop.
Electric is a different beast entirely. There's some bad blood between Matamp and Electric. Lots of horror stories flying back and forth. I've heard it asserted a whole bunch of times that Electric doesn't build their amp heads--some dude in Florida(?) does--which is why the waiting list is so long.

Yeah, that's messed up.
Also, going back, I was not aware that Tym trod on some toes with the sour lemon.
It's not like those were cheap either.

I think Science builds something close to a Matamp.
