This band is older than those silly video games.
It was more that the person who sang lead on one song said she didn't want money during recording. She had a bad falling out with the band and now wants money. The band kind of doesn't have any so they just took the record down to avoid the trouble.

Any chance you could hook a brother up? I'm kind of a dead meadow groupie.
I found it on rutracker.org no problem

These two, definitely. I'd probably throw that new Grave Upheaval into the mix, too.
So much stuff I haven't listened to...
And, yes, okay, I really like Yeezus. Like,
really.

Found it. So far it seems very Feathers-y, which is all right--I've always been more of a Shivering Kings fan.

Awesome. I'm on my home computer so rarely these days to up it, it would have been next week before I could up it. I like it a lot, I think it's great, but I thought Feathers/Old Growth and Three Kings were fucking great too.... I like the newer mellower Meadow a lot....
And the Brutal Truth/Bastard Noise! I haven't even heard that shit yet but I bet it's gonna be TITS.
I don't know how Okkyung Lee's "Ghil" didn't make my list, or Iron Lung's White Glove Test. There's a fucking lot of good stuff out this year. I have 21 possible contenders right now.....

Mellow Meadow is all right. My favorite is the old material live, now that Jason Simon has totally given up on the nasal voice that's all over the old records.
You can listen to one version of the BT/BN here (don't know if it's the vinyl tracklist or the cd, though):

Yeah I saw that linked, can't wait to check it out. I'm hoping the chumps like me who bought the vinyl and CD will get a download code so I can grab it digitally for my on-the-go hipster lifestyle...

Nine Inch Nails - Hesitation Marks
James Blake - Overgrown
Moderat - II
& the Isis - Celestial reissue came out this year so I'm counting that, too.
