If ue used the sunn as a slave for the peavey would it give an audible sense of more headroom due to higher wattage pushing the cabs (4x10 and 1x15)
If the peavey has a slave out jack then it should work fine. Make sure the cabs are correct for what the amps are rated for though.
I could be wrong but I think those are ok with 8 or 4 ohms min so If you have two 4 ohms bass cabs you will want to make sure they are running in series, not parallel
It might not be called a slave out--I believe Peavey calls it "preamp out."

Yeah, or "booster amplifier".

... which is clearly going to be the name of at least one Boris album.

It'll be two different releases that you have to play at the same time, one through your amps and one through your stereo.
The one you play through your amps will be a really shitty mix of the same music.
It will come with a limited edition artbook consisting of blank pages of varying paper sizes.

Awesome score man... You would have been mad if you didn't get it for $75... Mine kicks ass through Peavey 4x12's...

The distortion only turns on with a footswitch, actually.

Ohh good call, think I can just plug it like a fender vibrato to get it on? Also the pre amp although it works doesn't seem to be pushing much, I can dime it and probably play for a good 10-15 minutes before anyone would get upset.

I have one of those. You need a footswitch for the distortion and boost. It can use a fender footswitch but you need the foot switch with the RCA connectors. I find the volume to be a bit on the low side without the boost on constantly. If the pre amp is cutting out while moving the volume knob is being turned then you probably just need to replace the volume pot. I am beginning to have the same problems with my amp where there is a volume drop that cuts in and out as I turn the knob.

Played it tonight at practice. Was somewhat low on bass with a 115 but when I ran it into my 212 it sounded a lot better. The pre amp worked fine I grounded the distortion and that worked, pre amp section was quieter than juat running it through the amp/line 6. Probably needs a tune up of sorts. I fucking LOVED it with my jag and algal bloom. Was exactly what I was expecting, so heavy.

Yeah, they're actually one of my favorite guitar amps. The one I went halfsies on with my bro is incredibly loud, so something is proooobably wrong. But, clearly, nothing too big.
