Megalith is a sub-bass machine.
Yeah, I'm running both now, and together or separate I can get super dark (or screaming).
Tall Font Russian is dark as hell, I loved mine (gonna get another some day).
Bluebeard with the switch down is also pretty dark, but not as dark as the TFR.

I love my TAFM on bass. I have a Baby Thundaa that sounds nice too.

Why the fuck do I not listen to O'Brother more?
I've known of the band for so long. Ugh.
Also, when running these fuzzes have you tried rolling your tone knob back all the way? That could help, especially with a Rat.
I really think a TAFM could get you there if you roll the shape back a ton and boost the shit out of the fuzz volume (with a teeny bit of clean).

TAFM and Tall Font Russian are two that I've tried that would fit the bill for you, I also prefer a darker deeper fuzz.
Ones that I'd love to try that seem like they would also fit include Big Green Pi and the new Diabolik. Those and of course about a million others too.

You might simply want to back down Your tone knob.

Sorry, couldn't resist.
Megalith is boomy as hell, yeah. A bass player colleague in my band makes great use of it, natural sounding and dark. And have You tried Woolly Mammoth? Then Some low end heavy Fuzz Face circuits might do it for You also.

That should blunt the high freqs, yeah. And give some extra hair to the fuzz.
