Yeah, seriously. I'd love to hear the Moog. Have a feeling it's not going to be too exciting, but I'd love to be proven wrong!

Another vote for dwarfcraft.... SPack Vibes...!

I will also throw in the Prunes and Custard...it does wierd filtery sounds but can also be tweaked for a unique overdrive...

Mini, Fuck, and Sparkle Motion are the three pedals I use to push my tube amps. All three have their own thing going on and just sound fucking excellent pushing a tube amp into break up / overdrive, and they are all super loud too. Lately I've been thinking of trying to pick up a Mountain Range in place of my Fuck. I've also been looking at the Greenhouse Middleman boost which has it's own knob full of flavor (mids)!

Another pedal I use and enjoy, with its own sound, and rules set to at lower gain, is a RAT. I use a Rat Tail.

Another vote for the Mini here. I was having trouble finding OD style dirt (for bass) that sounded good with my band and since I got a Mini the search is over. We play a mix of stoner and proto-punk styles and Muff type pedals were overpowering the guitar player. I use the Mini as an always on pedal and just crank the gain when I need "more". I've tried a bunch of dirt pedals that sound great at home, but the true test is in a band setting and the Mini really delivers on both fronts.

I have a barbershop, and I really don't think it will leave my board (only on there for about 6 months but still) it just sounds good, like its hard to explain it just sounds like I want it to, not something I've heard before or something maybe, I dont know. It gets pretty fuzzy to my ears. With the sag dialed back and the drive maxed, I bet someone could easily mistake it for a fuzz.

but, yeah the moog looks awesome, I pre-ordered one of those too for the heavier drive sounds because I use the barbershop as more of a light overdrive but you could totally use it as the heavy overdrive in your rig.

Fryette SAS. Considering what the go for and the range of filth they can kick out, I'm surprised they aren't more popular here (or in general)

Other than the great pedals mentioned thus far...maybe check the FrazzDazzler from Ryan. Such cool, non typical, low gain sounds plus so much more. Love it for everything!

Another you might want to check out is the Redwitch Famulus. It has two separate gain settings, and a knob that acts like a wet/dry between the two. So what comes out your amp is two distinct signals with different gain. Pretty cool and plays real nice with other pedals to interesting effect. Very wide variety of textures and color in this sweetheart.

Love my Mini. Love my Barbershop even more, but the Mini does have more gain on tap, if that's what you need.

Crimson drive is worth checking out
Definitely has some interesting tones especially when you max the gain
It's not all too heavy on the bass but it sounds goooood
