Wasn't someone building and selling at pedal version of the 2000 preamp? Not going to be the same as the real deal running a UL power section, but may still sound pretty damn good driving one of the modern traynor tube bass heads

a worthless endevour. That amp cannot even being to adequately use 6550s. 6550s were put in them often as they were used in the US but its not doing anything useful. The PT and OT are woefully underspecced to take advantage of them.

plus the T had a master so its not advisable to go and hack up a vintage amp and ruin its value. A Model T does not even get the most out of a quad of 6550s either, not the right PI to do so and the wrong power supply and output setup.
