I preordered a Korg MS-20 in April and it still hasn't arrived - I'm thinking about using my credit for a Minibrute instead as I think it's got a lot of features I like more - the hold function for drones, the arpeggiator, etc... plus I could get it tomorrow rather than in 6 fucking years when Korg ships them.....

You also may want to look at the Akai Miniak.

The miniak is a veerrrry different breed of synth too. The mini/micro brute are synths for learning about synths, having fun turning knobs, and getting a basic sound fast.. While the miniak is more about slowly developing a complex sound, and the interface really requires you to do a lot of thinking about how everything's working together.

It really just depends on what you want from a synth. :idk:

If this thing will sync to a Monotribe, I want it. The Minibrute= techno city with its seq/arp, so fun! The patch points on the Micro= win :omg: I love semi modular synths.

Delta why you no likey Minibrute sound? :poke: I think its rad as shit.

I want to turn knobs and make drones and weird noises.... I think the Korg seduced me with the patchbay, but I thinking Arturia has more features I want. I'm pretty sure I'm going to get it today  considering I paid for the Korg 6 months ago and stI'll no word on when it might arrive...... :picard:

IDK, it was good, the super saw was kind of weird, metalizer was okay. I know it could get more sounds with levels low on the waves but it seemed to mainly have one tone.

I think that is why I want to combine Mini and Micro. With two oscillators you can do all kinds of sounds. Especially with all the controls each Arturia oscillator has.

Bingo Bango! There's something you learn from Metasoinx gear. Cranking the levels smothers the sound potential. You should give it another chance next time you go to banjo center :thumb:

Oh man, this is the first I've heard of this. I may have to pick one up eventually. It will go nicely with my minibrute and I like the idea of having two oscillators to mess around with. I showed my girlfriend the youtube ad and she started making eyes like she just saw a cute puppy.
