the Supernatural would also fit your board aesthetics, man
the first one obviously needs a volume pot

There's an M5 at a local GC for like $90. At that price, worth a shot. I know I loved my m5, loved my m9, and I love my m13.

The zoom ms70-cdr has shimmer(no octave control tho) and blackhole plus tons of other cool shiz. Particle reverb is awesome as well. Its stereo, has mix, and has tons of available space for presets! And its only $120. I love mine. It sits between fuzzes on my board, sounds good before and after.

As far as kinda tuneable shimmer, I'd try to find a used Quantum Leap. Not a verb but unique. Or a goodbye 24!

I believe the
Wet Stereo Reverb using the
Pedal Customizer Software can do a tuneable shimmer.
It doesn't have presets but does have expression control for mix and depth.
The pedal customizer will also let you use it as a delay or chorus and has a pretty cool "Infinity Hold" thing as well.
I sold mine before most of those features were around but even with out them it was a killer reverb pedal.
On a similar note, could you use a Hall of Fame and create a Toneprint that would fill your needs?

Damn it, that ambient verb is now an addition to my ever expanding must obtain list.

I think it was an outbreak of hipster because of P&W love for shimmer. A shot of penicillin calmed down the inflammation.

Most of the owners of BlueSky will hurry up to sell them quickly just to buy BigSky...and there's a chance for everyone of us to buy them cheap

Here's my setup for shimmer sounds...it's not "classic shimmer" from BSR but cool for my needs.

The MS-70CDR is a great little box that can do a LOT of cool things.
If you want a dedicated reverb pedal and are ok with the L6 sounds the Verbzilla is also a good option on the cheapz.
