Dont have any tuning problems though, but I understand your skepticism.
There is very little wiggle room, so nothing you could not fix with tape or something similar.

The posts have a little room to rock but it doesn't really do it that much in my experience. Stays in tune way better than when I had a tune-o-matic.

^A little bit of tape around the posts would 100% sort it out if it turned out to be an issue for you though.

Agreed. When I say the Staytrem posts are smaller than the Mastery's it's only by a small margin. Tape would def remedy any bridge rocking. That said, I've had zero tuning issues with either bridge, all stock, no tape needed.

cool info guys, thanks very much :)

it's especially of my interest because they're UK based, so i won¨t have to pay the import tax i'd have to pay when buying a Mastery from USA

one day...

Yeah that was my reasoning too. Less expensive upfront AND like £5 shipping and no import tax? Yeah ok. I will also point out that it totally changed the guitar's tone too! I always thought people who said bridge changes could affect tone were corksniffing assholes but apparently not in this case.

...Unless... I'm a corksniffing asshole?

The tone most def improves with a Mastery or Staytrem. Better body contact, far more stable, tighter spec tolerances. My guitars are noticeably more resonant after installation, no cork sniffing involved.

Yeah the main difference for me is it's just like putting out more harmonics or something, it sounds a bit brighter and a bit richer. Even noticable unplugged which I was surprised by.

I picked up a CIJ Jazzmaster last year......I love the guitar, but the saddles were crap (threaded rod style).

I could barely even play it. Due to the 7.25" board radius, I just swapped it out for a Mustang bridge.

Been great ever since.

The Mustang bridge came as a package deal with the BuzzStop.

I installed it. I didn't really notice much base tone difference.........obviously, playing behind the bridge was different. People bash the BuzzStop, but I don't think it's all that bad.
If you don't play behind the bridge, and you want to use lower gauge strings........the BuzzStop makes sense.
