shes really jealous, she wants the guitar for herself. she was trying to get me to let her buy me this other Harmony archtop so she could have this one. sorry babe, this ones mine...

i drilled a small hole underneath the pickup to route the wire. i used 500k pots. im gonna order some creme cupcake knobs from small bear this week.

it sounds massive. i had it all the way down to the top, but i got some felt from an old hi-hat clutch i had, cut some circles off of it, then put them under the pickup so i could adjust the height. the high strings were a little weak with the pickup all the way to the body, but now its nicely balanced.

big bass, great mids, full highs. the output is comparable to the neck pickup on my tele, which is a 52 reissue. sounds awesome drenched in reverb!

and fuzz? jesus. the Wattson EFY-6 loves that old dearmond. its fucking huge.

so, yeah. so glad i did this.
