I'd totally rock an OG Kustom Stack.

Favorite solid state that I've tried is the TS200 that I got off Sonny and had for a good while. It was a beast. The tone was great, it could be loud as hell or quiet as a mouse

So yeah, this rules.
Have you heard the distortion channel on these amps?

john got me hooked on these old randalls
Image
if you can find one
there always cheap
i got the commander iv for $125
johns got two switchmasters that he loves
i think both were $125 as well
and seem to work perfectly no matter what
gets you a pedal platform at high vols no probskey
and sound real good solo too
but as someone said
fixing them is a bitch
i got a bit of reverb crackle
and have yet to find someone
who wants to take a stab
other than that its quiet as a mouse
up to full window rattling volumes
and everyone will say acoustic and i agree
that shit needs no pedal help
sounds so fuckking good however you dial it
the plus with that is powering all your crazy cab configs

im an ss kinda guy
tubes scare me
my other wants
peavey marks/festis/musicians etc
that kustum shit like what
and i hurt for a traynor head
but really im good for now

Sunn Stagemasters are some of my favorite sounding amps period. I also played through a really old Randall RG recently and if I start playing anything sludgy again I'll be picking one of those up for sure.

thats what the commander is james
rg-80
i think 80w to the 4x10s
and 120 to the extension cab
its about as loud as you want it to be
theres a commander ii
that has 2 12s in it
i wanna try one of those marshal lead 100s
i always see them for cheap
but never get the go ahead from yous guys
im also thinkin about a crate power block
as a backup amp
but that traynor block is cool as shit

Actually, no. Don't you need a footswitch to engage it?

Also, monoblock II= Dead Kennedy's bass tone.

Yeah you need a footswitch. I read online that it's not that hard to make one.

I love my jazz chorus. Mine's a 76, so I don't know how it compares to modern ones, but I have no desire to change anytime soon.

i really like the Gibson Lab series amps from the 70s. B.B. King used one for years.

A few weeks ago, I got an SWR SM-400(pre-fender buyout) :omg: Previously, my SS amps have included- Gallien Krueger 800rb(paired with a Trace Elliot 2x15), Hartke kickback 12 combo, and a Crate 1x15 combo. Ok, no fair to pass judgment on the two combo amps in comparison, but they did suck  The SWR smokes the Gallien Krueger by a milestone in the tone department!
