This has always bummed me out when it come to all this digital gnargnar. But then again, I don't see why I treat my consumer habits differently between music and then my cellphone/laptop. It's not like I'm going to pop open my laptop and get to work, everything in there is fucked. I went ahead and bought a Mustang V1, and it sounds effing great. All the different sounds keep me playing/noodling, lotsa fun. I figure if it lasts as long as my other electronic garbage, I'll be happy.

The Mustangs will last as long as any of the rest of it, I've been relatively abusive input level and settings -wise on my V and it doesn't care.

Takes pedals just fine, providing that I'm not trying to run six fuzz pedals into a Marshall model at max gain, at which point it'd sound like shit on the real thing too.

I want a V2 for the Hiwatt and Orange models but just haven't been convinced to spend the coins.
