I don't know, I think it looks pretty cool and would totally rock one. I guess it's definitely not for everyone.
I never said it was worth the money though; I wouldn't even drop that much on a custom shop Fender.
Definitely have never seen a 5 string upright. That's sexy.

That's a bass guitar
upright 5ers with low Bs have been around for over 100 years.

That's why I thought it really unique, I've seen tons of oddly done up bass guitars but one where they took the time to build something crazy is just cool
