I'd give a +1 for Zhangbucker, he makes a specific Duane type model, is well respected in this field and the prices aren't as crazy as most other boutique stuff.
I think I'll go with a set of pickups from him as well for my ES335.
Right now I have some RS Fralin in there but it doesn't work with the guitar.
What's your guitar like, is it a semi-hollow, hollowbody or solidbody?
Pickups have a completely different character in semi-hollows or hollowbodies than they do in solidbodies I find, those RS Fralins were amazing in a Les Paul of a friend of mine but in my ES335 it's just way too much, overpowering, too bright and still not very alive sounding.
The Mules were shit in another semi-hollow guitar I heard too, the same, way too bright and way too much and overpowering.
Lollar is probably a no go because they also seem quite bright judging from the clips I heard so far.
I had some Sheptones in my ES335 which were probably the best ones so far but still they were on the bright side and a bit modern sounding to my ears, the bridge pickup could be a bit fatter sounding as well, it lacked a bit of beef for me, though these had the most balanced and most special sound so far.
It's really a search to get the right pickup with these kind of guitars in my experience.
