I remember Devi talking about making shit tons of money and hiring lawyers to sue one person or another. Shoulda spent that lawyer money on a new vagina maybe. I'm all about the "Devi should be happy" vibe but I kinda think she should pay for that happiness with her own money, not that of internet bros.

If I was in a position financially to help I would totally request a big poster of her thumb or something and put it in my hallway. When people come over they could ask "what's with the poster?" and I would say "Ah, that takes me back, I once helped pay for a vagina you see". It would be an amazing conversation piece. Even more so without any context.

I never understood what all the fuss about Devi was about in the first place. All I know is that bringing her name up is likely to end up in a huge thread.
I find it sad that she has to go through a fundraising process to live her gender identity and sex life with dignity. I'm obviously a commy 'cause I'm French and we have free universal health care and it would defo be covered in her case - and I pay taxes for that to happen, and all, but this is super sad.

Yeah, watching that video I was shocked at the costs involved in transitioning, which can't be an easy thing to do even without the costs.
I find some of the things she's selling a bit weird (polaroids?), but I might get myself a painting or pedal. I like her and some of her paintings are pretty cool.
