I just picked up a Peavey Musician for 80 bucks. It's gonna be a few weeks before I can try it with my cabs at home but it was getting loud as shit in the store and I wasn't even thinking of taking it past noon. Oh, and it sounded awesome on bass and guitar and has decent reverb, fuzz and tremolo built in.

Anybody got suggestions for stuff I can get my hands on in Europe? I'd love some cheap old Peavey but all I can find on ebay are American sellers and the shipping shafts me.

Plenty of Peavey in Ireland man. I've bought two Mark VIs and one Mark IV in the last few years for around 100 euro, I've also been really lucky with a few vintage tube amps too. Look out for HH, Laney and Trace Elliot stuff on adverts and gumtree, if you're on facebook Ampstack posts good deals on gear in English ebay auctions regularly enough. Here's a bunch of stuff on adverts worth a look.

This is my pick of the bunch right now. Great sounding amps. https://www.adverts.ie/bass-amps/laney- ... ad/3402415

Carlsboro can be decent too so this might be worth a look, been too long since I heard one to tell ya what they sound like: https://www.adverts.ie/bass-amps/carlsb ... bo/3162826

I don't like these at all personally but it's very cheap: https://www.adverts.ie/bass-amps/marsha ... mp/2570110
