I find I get my creepiness from reverb lately (particularly the Ghost Echo) combined with another modulation effect. I don't have flangers or phasers, mostly because of the way they suck the various frequencies out as they modulate. I find adding the Ghost Echo to my Tremulust or my Sea Machine gives me the deep, creepy sound I'm looking for. You can hear a bit of it in the Tremulust demo you mentioned. But I tend to use it with the Sea Machine to get the really thick, deep, creepy type of sound I'm after.

Just a thought, try using your Cosmichorus into some pretty deep reverb and see if that gets you near what you are looking for. The Tremulust works quite nicely as well because you can use some non-standard wave forms to add to the creepiness.

I think a univibe type effect (like the depths) might be what you're after too, as they seem to add to the thickness of your tone as they modulate. Or look into that Mr. Black Gilamondo (or however you spell it) because it seems to add a really deep/thick sound.

The sea machine is definitely creepy.

For the record, organizer > ghost echo is perfect

Ah, got it. I think somebody should build a phaser or something specifically for lower tuned instruments.

I'll have to think about what might work for you.

I'm tuned in E standard.

Yeah, but you'd still benefit from a phaser meant for low pitched instruments.

And would the Hartman Analog Flanger do the slow sweep thing?

I really love the Enterprise V1, I hope the Enterprise V2 is just as good because I just ordered one.
For my tastes it has an amazing vibrato that's halfway between a filter and a regular vibrato, it still has some of that quack and thickness while producing the eerie sounds of a true vibrato.
The vibe sounds are very nice too and can produce some spooky effects on higher speeds.
The phaser sounds are great as well, Phase 90 style with more resonance if needed (this can give a nice arpeggiating type of effect).
It's a very versatile pedal I think.

I think the Hartman is an electric mistress clone. If that helps at all?

Not to give a TGP response, but the Strymon Mobius has really taken care of all my modulation needs.

For example:

Also includes the harmonic mode that is much like the pareidolia

Their Phaser is actually completely fantastic and has a ton of controls available for waveshape speed stage number, etc. Higher stage numbers will typically end up in a thinner tone as you notice on the Infanem which is 6 or 8. The Mobius has 2, 4, 6, 8, 12, 16, and barber pole available.
