I caved and grabbed a leak of it. It's nothing unexpected, but sometimes it's nice when a band develops their sound and sticks with it rather than attempt to move away.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I really loved the last album, so I'm anticipating a good build on that!

that's definitely their motto, and like I said it's appreciated. You'll definitely enjoy it.

New Nadja was all right, but they're in such a different place from my favorite albums of theirs I can't really love it yet. Like when you re-up with an old ex and she's had all her tattoos removed or something.

I forgot Zozobra's album was 2013. That shit slays.

Foals - Holy Fire
Portugal. The Man - Evil Friends
Streetlight Manifesto - The Hand that Thieves

I need to listen to the new Queens of the Stone Age too

what's your favourite Nadja album? I haven't heard them all, but I know they tend to move around a bit sound wise.

That's a tough one, but gun-to-head I'd say the Black Boned Angel collab.
On their bandcamp, it's probably Radiance of Shadows (although the covers album and Skin Turns to Glass are excellent as well)

Totally in love with new Kanye. Think new Antediluvian fucking slays. As well as new Portal, of course. Quite fond of new Pet Shop Boys. Wolf Eyes' latest impressed me quite a bit as well. Haapoja's self-titled album grabbed me by the balls with how good it was, too (totally bored of this new Southern Lord-beat blackened crust nonsense; Haapoja are what I always wished "blackened hardcore" sounded like). That Run the Jewels album is quite good too. New Coffins is, well, new Coffins: exactly what you'd expect, to the same high standards as the rest of their oeuvre. I like it a lot too.

Really looking forward to new Vasaeleth and new Tim Hecker and probably some other stuff I've forgotten

Got one of those blue vinyl efforts on the way to me. Listened to the intro of the creeper. Sounds like they moving their sound along nicely.

The release I am most looking forward to is the new Polvo album coming out in October!

Been waiting for news on this for ages. Also there is also a new Lee Ranaldo and the Dust album due out in the same month.

Both should be well worth checking out.
