I'd go verb, rat, delay, fuck, verb. That way you can have smooth sustainy stuff with delay when needed, and warbly trailing fuzz blasts when needed. In real life you'll be switching everything around all the time and keep buyng new shit that not quite fit.

at the moment i have ..

RRR first .. BitQuest in the middle. and the Wet reverb near the end.
both work well into the wet. and i can kill em. to get back to dry playing.
and. the wet has trails at the end. for smoother transitions.

I mostly stack reverb with my ps-2 or ps-3, but I have run my Digiverb and Supernatural in stereo and it was heavenly.

I stack at least 3 when I have all my stuff together
Currently an RV5 pre most dirt (tone reaper at the front)
CHicken in the middle
Supernatural at the end
and amp verb at the end most of the time
also run 3 delays or so as well
Dirt before verb is great
I also stack the verb up with pitchfactor sounds quite often

I don't love a ton of delay pre dirt, maybe just one with odd trails and lots of repeats

I think I just need to ditch the board for a couple hours and plug everything in every which way. All I know for certain is I want reverb before dirt and one after everything.

I'm hoping to find a handful of real useable ways to play with one combo, like a great dirty tone, spacey tone, overblown, and some others

My board used to look like this. Stacking all the reverb here was more than enough to induce spontaneous slippage into parallel dimensions.
