I used one to install a bigsby on my Jaguar HH Special, and I can play behind the bridge. That Jag has more space between the bridge and tailpiece though.

Easiest way to try it would be to get a vibramate.
I used one to install a bigsby on my Jaguar HH Special, and I can play behind the bridge. That Jag has more space between the bridge and tailpiece though.
