For just a little bit more (around $509 without Bigsby, $575 with) with the Prymaxe 15% discount I'd go for one of these:

I've been wanting a 2nd guitar for open tuning/slide stuff and this looks like it would fit the bill.

^ That is sexy, hard to believe it's so inexpensive. Scale looks a little short for my liking but that could be an optical illusion. Should check specs....

I'd save a little bit more and get a Fender Pawn Shop something or other. Most likely the Super-Sonic

I'd get the grey....and sometimes I get the impression that I'm practically the only one who wants it.

I keep waiting to see those Super-Sonics pop up, nobody is buying. I also like the grey but I saw the Orange/Rust in person and it was stunning. A little much for my taste but hard to look away from. Sadly, it was in the window of a music shop after hours so I couldn't try it out. Not a fan of reverse headstocks but it looks pretty right on that guitar since the whole damn thing is like an upside down lefty offset.

If I was a lefty (which I am but not when it comes to playing guitar thank god!), I'd hate Fender so bad lately. They keep releasing these reverse guitars and basses. People really got upset about the Reverse Jag Bass as lefties have been requesting a Jag Bass for years now. Then Fender makes one, essentially, and flips it over for the righties haha.

hmm... probably either a Fender Marauder or Squier Classic Vibe Thinline 69.

possibly a Gretsch pro jet with the blacktop pups, and i'll just add a bigsby on that.

Those Hansons with bigsbys are sweet. I've never seen or heard of Hanson before. Thanks Rob. Im considering a Cigna for my next buy. I was gonna go for a Fender Marauder and put one of these on eventually http://www.awesome-guitars.com/1-products-35.htm bitches love switches.

But I went with the Squier Mascis. People on ILF have had me gasing for one for too long. I might change the bridge out to a Creamery bucker...im thinking alnico 8 because ive never tried 8s. And a pickguard change for sure. Possibly tuners. Dunno. Fucking excited. Also got a Fender Greta.

Congrats man, hope you enjoy it!
The stock pickups are actually pretty great, I thought id end up changing them but I really haven't felt the need so far.
The tuners hold pretty well so unless you don't like vintage style ones you probably wont need to change them.
I'd recommend swapping the TOM to a roller bridge though.

I am much more of a 24" scale Fender guy (Jaguars and Mustangs) but my Mascis is unbelievably solid and the neck is perfect. No skunk stripe is an added plus, I hate them on RW board instruments, and it's the one cosmetic thing I like on the Mascis. That said, I still sound like me on it and don't fight the guitar, two key things.

Don't worry about what to change, just play it and see what happens!
