Yeah, Les's live tone is every bit as good as his recordings, just a really solid performer all around. Jump at any chance you have to see him throw down the bass jamz!

Goddamn love Primus and pretty much anything else Claypool diddles his fingers in. Dude is such a beast and his solo ventures are top notch, but Primus will far and wide be his best effort due to the monsters of drummers he gets, plus Larry on guitar playing like almost no one else. Saw em play Red Rocks in 2008 and I still rate that as one of the very best concerts I've seen.
Seen Claypool in solo ventures twice besides that (my very first concert (without the rest of my family at least) was Claypool's fancy band at the ogden theater in denver), and each time it was an eclectic mix of just plain badassery.
