Bareknuckle Stockholms are pretty heavy, P90s in a humbucker format

I ended up putting phatcats in it

guitar is no longer vanillaish
It sounds more paulish and gets into Neil Young territory easily

i just had my sg redone, went with a phat cat in the neck, threw on a cover for the stock 490 in the bridge...pole pieces adjusted. then i threw out the stock pots, caps, switch, and jack.
the rewiring cost the most, like $150 but was well worth it. i didn't like the 490 at first, but the guts made a diff for me, something you may want to check out while swappin pups.

If ya want to try something different. I'm really happy with these Lace Deathbuckers. Alumitones definitely are a departure from the norm. I love em.

I used that guitar to do this-
