LOL, Caesar! Devi and Kim are not known brain eaters, and I give up every scrap of info pretty easily, so I think I'm safe there. I hope my bones become knobs for pedals someday, but not till I'm dead...which is like 1,000 years away. And selling RV insurance can't be that bad...at least I could afford some FUCKING PEDALS!!

I had a blast seeing Devi and Kim, as always. It's a pleasure and a privilege to have them as friends. We're supposed to go see Watchmen, next...Devi loaned me the Graphic Novel a couple of months back, and I was hooked.

Coraline is pretty amazing. (Full Disclosure : My wife worked on the film for 3+ years). If you have a chance to see it in "Real 3-D," before the fucking Jonas Brothers movie bumps it out of theaters next week, do so. This is not your daddy's 3-D! Holy Moley! And the music is great, very evocative. My favorite character was the cat.

I did fall asleep briefly... Kim was supposed to elbow me if I started to snore, but she failed to do so. I think they thought it was funny. And, no, Devi, it wasn't because I'm old, it's because I got up at 3:30 that morning...and the theater was just so...cozy. Mmmmm, and dark.

Not much of a review, but there you have it. BTW- I hated The Nightmare (on Elm Street) Before Christmas (too many songs...) and James and the Stupid Peach (just stupid)... but I loved Selick's short Moongirl and, now, Coraline... and of course his Pillsbury Dough-Boy ads from the 50's.

Now, get back to your fuzzy guitars-n-shit...

Can't wait for Watchmen. It's my favorite piece of literature ever. I just hoped the changed ending doesn't ruin the entire thing.
