I remember the first time I listened to them last year, let me paint a picture. I was sitting with my friend in his white volvo SUV, I'm a chubby guy with black plastic rim glasses and he is a redhead with long curly hair and giant olive green glasses, we were drinking soda lime & bitters out of plastic cups. We had wu tang pumping out of the speakers and you could probably hear it from the other end of the street and this Catholic school girl walks past on her way home, looks through the windscreen at us and just cracks up laughing. She stands their for about 5 seconds bent over and then walks away.
We must have looked like complete tools.

Related ( with RZA) from the same era. That first Odb album is amazing. Nigga Please is pretty good too.

Seeing the Wu Tang live at the end of the week in Spain

They BETTER be good because I'll be missing Thee Oh Sees to see them. I did see Thee Oh Sees the other week though, but it was incredible as always and it'd suck to miss em if the Wu end up being shit live.

I doubt you'll be disappointed, but it just aint "The Wu" without ODB, IMO

For the record, The Wu were pretty damn great

managed to get front and centre for the whole show. Crowd were going so mental that the barriers at the front were being pushed forward. Covered in bruises today fron it, but it was worth it

Therefore--Wu Tang bends catholic schoolgirls over for a minimum of five seconds.

duude point breeze was really bad when I lived in that area. waaay too many dudes hanging out in the street in one area.
i also lived up in north philly for a little while.
shots rang down our block (luckily nobody got hit, but my car suffered some collateral damage) at both places at various occassions.
also saw wu at rock the bells a few years ago. the one where rage played. they were kinda meh. method man was carrying the crew, and besides him their energy was really flat. cypress hill was much better, and rage blew them all out of the water.
