i saw the melvins play in support of a senile animal with the mirrored drum set thing and it fucking ruled. like seriously ruled.

i was in a trio, sort of a side project, when i was about 17, and everyone who heard us said we sounded like the melvins. too bad that didnt pan out. we broke up after like 6 months. 2 alphas one band not really a good thing unless yer the effin beatles

they really are one of the best live bands. the other bonus to seeing a melvins show is that usually bring along really good openers. I learned about totmoshi from them as well as one of my new favorites, Tweak Bird.
Buzz and Dale have been playing together for a million years, and it really show. they are an insanely tight band.
