I dont have like $3000 for the harvester and I'm not stoked on the nelsons enough to buy one and not have money for a cab.

I played another ranaldo today that SUCKED. Im off them entirely.

What didn't you like about the Ranaldo? Everything??

My old TM was just OK, solid guitar and it looked super nice but needed some upgrades for sure. Traded it instead.

It felt like it was made out of plastic. Neck was huge. Setup was shit (i know this is the shops fault but come the fuck on). Felt dead in my hands. Weighed like six ounces. Just like the one i bought from sweetwater then immediately returned.

HAHAHAHAHA

I actually held a prs dragon one time...it was one of the single cuts with this UNREAL inlay of a mean looking ass dragon on the front. It was in hikeschool and everyone was talking about how rosewood necked guitars were the only guitars to have (you have to remember this was before all the gear forums. I think the only ones there were were like harmony central and prs forum, which is what TGP used to be). So i go into this store with my dad (who i think was wearing his rolex and thats the only reason this happened) and im like uuuh do you have any prs with the rosewood necks and the dude was like "Oh yeah i think ive got one in the back" and he comes out with a case and just hands me this dragon and walks off. Just like leaves me there not a care in the world. The guitar was $38,000. Thats like....as much as a mercedes e-class AMG at the time. Just hands a 17 year old kid a $38,000 guitar and walks right the fuck off. I looked at the pricetag and very carefully walked back across the giant store to the counter and handed it back telling him "Dude no offense but this is way too expensive for me to even breathe on". Heres a pic of the one im talking about....im def not into fancy inlays or anything but the inlay on this was mad 3d and so amazing. It smelled reeeeeeeally good too.

My buddy owns and LOVES an Albert Lee, just adores it. I remember first seeing it and being like, "WTF, really?" but after playing it I understood, really nice guitar. Think his has the all rosewood neck/board/headstock and some coil tapped HBs, pretty versatile.

The Sonic Youth JM's are odd instruments, they are mid-high priced trashers in a sense. As the should be (in a way).

I have never played a Hagstrom, but I like the looks of that, how is the build quality compared to say Airline's, Eastwood's or higher end Teisco's?

That SG is sharp, and I really like vibrola's but I have never been able to jive with red guitars. I refinished my red LP to a gold top.

How do you feel about Inverness Green? Gibson did a Korina SG some time ago in Inverness and I REALLY like it. However I don't know the current prices.

Super light huh?!? That's fucked up, JMs are some of the heavier guitars I've played. Everyone whines about LPs but my JM weighs almost 9lbs, more than my one-piece mahogany body LP Custom. It's a lively sob tho, I know what you mean by "feeling dead" as the TM struck me that way too.

I like 'em now, totally grew on me but I thought it was too small and strangely shaped initially. Also, it was just miles away from his normal guitar preference so that's kinda what my "WTF" was all about when he first showed it to me.

Thats an old 60s hag so build quality is......well...its a beautiful instrument and the neck is suuuuuuper awesome but the bodies are made of about seven hundred different pieces. I think the builds blow away teiscos. The bridge is the most frustratingly useless trem ever developed though. It barely does anything as a trem and as a tailpiece....restringing it will make you want to put it right through the wall.....but the pickups are fucking ridiculously good. given the choice between a hagstrom and a mustang to be my only guitar for the rest of my life id go with the hagstrom hands down.

I cancelled my bid on the SG and the hagstrom. I kindof only want the music man.
