I'll back Avatar, too. I had a 1x12 for a short period for a modded JCA20h that was good. And recently I bought a neo 2x12 for bass, and that slays. It came with a wonky crossover, so I called them up with my problems and they sent out another crossover for free and it got to me the next day. Great customer service.

Aftershock cabs look pretty good. They do both stained wood and tolex.

thanks for all the suggestions, dudes. if i bother to order cabs, i'm leaning towards going with avatar. i've bought speakers from them a few times and dealt with dave and he's a super cool dude. hopefully i'll get it together and build some awesome cabs, but who knows. i'm going to check out all the suggestions in this thread though.
