The V4 is possibly the loudest amp I've ever owned. Speakers don't stand a chance.

I'm probably gonna buy new speakers for it, the ones in there were pretty shit to begin with, but I got the cab for nothing. Thinking 65w is probably gonna be the minimum.

Still, probably just gonna use my PA-135 into that, and use the V4 into an 8x10.

They're "bootleg"/inspired by JCM800's. Of course they sound good.

I love my 100H, even though It's now my backup.

I never thought my 100H sounded like an 800. I would set mine up to where it sounded almost identical to a V4. Master almost all the way up, pre-gain around 3-4, low end heavy. It was the reason I looked out for a V4 and ended up selling the Mig once I picked up a V4 and compared them. I wish I wouldn't of though. I much prefer a Mig over a V4 now days. That was a long time ago

So, can this just turn into a general love for Sovtek Mig thread? Maybe it'll inspire me to pick one up again, who knows. I should just stop talking, I don't need another amp

The Mig60 is the JCM800 clone.

The hiflier needed about $150 in it to get it where I wanted. Plus I didn't want to tour with something so fragile. I traded it for a jaZzmaster and some cash.

I hate the dirty channel except on light gain. But the clean rules with pedals and headphones.
