made this rad picture of okami based off a picture i saw on the internet.
its made with charcoal, watercolor, and chalk... i still gotta put the setting stuff on it so it doesn't get scratched off though. I thought it was one of my better artworks...

This is some scratch board. It was practice for and assignment in art class, I began writing ASTROZOMBIES, but it became ASTROLOL and some Wayne Coyne inspired aliens holding up a Shoegazer. I want to get into painting.

Here's annudda one of mine, also in the "splitting head" vein... hmmm... I may have an obsession with headaches.

This is a potential cover for a friend's horror comics collection. He wanted an un-comic-y cover, since he uses so many different artists (he's the writer) - he didn't want to weight the collection towards any one of the many styles that his stories have been rendered in.

Anyhow, I don't know which is going to be the final cover, but I personally like this version.

I'm a sucker for time-wasting on Facebook, and got tagged on one of the "make an album cover for a band that doesn't exist" thingies. If you haven't done this, the rules are:

1 - Go to Wikipedia. Hit “random”
or click http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first random Wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.

2 - Go to Quotations Page and select "random quotations"
or click http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last four or five words of the very last quote on the page is the title of your first album.

3 - Go to Flickr and click on “explore the last seven days”
or click http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days
Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

4 - Use Photoshop or similar to put it all together.

5 - Post it to FB with this text in the "caption" or "comment" and TAG the friends you want to join in.

And this is what I came up with:
MarisaurusRAWKS.jpg

And, since every non-existant band needs a little "behind the non-existant music": Lauded by critics as the next big thing in hobbit-influenced dino-centric mega-evil black metal, Marisaurus burst out of the Gary, Indiana thrash scene like a pterodactyl out of hell. Sadly, their rock & roll oddessy was cut short when, during a tour opening for Mercyful Fate, their singer Blagg Darkholde was discovered leading a group of Cub Scouts in the Pledge of Allegiance. The band fell apart shortly thereafter, amongst accusations of personal cleanliness and inexcusable politeness. Luckily, before breaking up, they left the world with one perfect album, "It Smells Like What It Is," which hints at the dark metallic depths that so many have sought, but never reached.

Thanks! I lucked out on the images and quotes I got... sorta cheated with the dino skulls, but they were part of the wiki article, so I figured it was fair enough...

I kinda want to start this band now that I've got the concept...
