My Mackie 402-VLZ3 has served me well. The passive ART stuff is also quality. Search "mixer" on Etsy and you can find some nicely built passive mixers as well...

Can it sum four signals, or just split them?

it can sum, 4 inputs to 1 output. i believe that they can be used either way. 1 input to 4 outputs.

Actually, if I were to get the ART Pro and one of these, it would be moot - one to split, one to sum.
HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM...

Oh, for now, I bought Dr. Sherm's splitter, and I'll pick up one of those ART Pro audio's as a summer. Or I'll use 'em vice versa - whichever. This is just a stopgap measure for studio use only - I want to be able to split my signal so I can jerry-rig my own multiband fuzzstortion. One of the first things I want to try is an ultimate synthstortion, using the Warmjet, my proto-Ruiner, and either my Freakenstein Jr or my Blargg-o-tron-o-tron. Or maybe all four! Could be a hot mess! Whoo-hoo!
EDIT: So, in hindsight, my request specifically for mixers might have been misleading. It was the splitting and summing that I'm most concerned with.

Dude, there is one of these going for 75 SEK on a local forum
http://www.leem.co.kr/eng/product_detai ... MN=WAM-290I know nothing about this shit but if it's good I could pick it up for you and send it, probably 175 SEK all up - what's that, 25 bucks? I'd have to check, it's been a while since I posted anything to the states.

Very interesting! Sure, if you feel like looking into it, that might work really nicely.

Hmm... I can't see if it's a simple mixer or if it's got send/returns. If it's only a mixer with 4 in 1 out that's pretty useless yeah?
edit: Confirmed - 4 in, 1 out, no send/returns. Too cheap to be true.
