Yeah so the MiniBrute has 100 presets (accessible via midi) according to some google research, but no saveable patches. I'm new to this synth thing so my lingo might not be up to par. I'm mainly looking for saveable patches on the unit itself.
I looked at the minitaur rev 2, but I'm looking mainly for something that's an all in one unit that wont require a an external midi controller or a patch librarian. I all ready have a full guitar rig and a full bass rig on stage, I don't need to be adding a full two tier keyboard rig with even more cables and setup time. With an all in one I can literally plug it in put it on a stand and run a 1/4 cable into the a/b box of my bass rig and call it a day, adds maybe 30 seconds to setup and tear down.

I'm going to be the odd-man-out here and say go for the Rogue or, even better, a MicroMoog or Source. You don't really need patch memory if you're doing bass synth... you're really only after maybe a grand total of 2 sounds (which is good, because pretty much any monosynth is good for maybe 4 actual usable sounds anyway). And when you throw dirt and verb from your board on it, those other 98 presets will be meaningless.

That minibrute's size and compactness is just right. Series of this guy's video makes it sound really interesting, especially that ultra saw feature

You could use pedals to make your patches.

So after talking to the band I think I'm going to use a spare midi controller / virtual analog synth we have lying around (Novation X-station) to use as a soft synth so we can use the ableton sounds that are on the album. As that is what everyone else will be doing as well. It will be more cables to setup and more troubleshooting if something goes wrong, but it should work just fine. So in light of that I will probably just sell my Baritone and pickup a Rogue for personal use.

It's been there for a while now, and if i had been able to keep all the money from selling my baritone i would be picking it up. But alas real life and baby bills took their share, but I was atleast able to keep enough to pick up a new delay.
