Re: Black Arts Toneworks
They both look totally awesome! The badascan sounds really useful, if I don't really bond with the LSTR I might check it out, and the Destroyer just looks cooool. Love one knob fuzzes.

I'll be getting Witch Burnt.
I've got one on the way.
From the BAT demo, sounds pretty good on its own and even better stacked with a Pharaoh.

The Pharaoh doesn't seem to have quite enough gain for me, I guess I jist kinda prefer my muffs to sound a bit more menacing.
LSTR: The best sovtek muff I ever played, but I'm just not that into that super boomy muddy apocalyptic vacum cleaner sound.
Witch burner: I'm just not hearing a helluva lot that a ton of other fuzz pedals can't do
As far as BAT peddles go, for me the Black Sheep is where it's at.

Re: Black Arts Toneworks
Yeah, the Pharaoh definitely isn't one of the gainiest Muffs. It certainly is one of the most versatile though. I've found good results stacking it with other dirt/fuzz.
The Witch Burner may not have as much character on its own, I'll probably be stacking it with another pedal... like the Pharaoh.
Black Sheep definitely has character.

Love my Ritual, but I think I'll pass on this one. Sounds good, I just don't need it.

Same song, second and third verses.
I do very much want to try the LSTR and the Pharoah at some point, though.

Dude the Boneshaker is fucking awesome and sounds nothing like his other pedals IMO. It has stacked pots for ultra tweaking. It sounded fucking AMAZING. I am seriously gasing hard for that one.

Too many knobs. Not a big muff. Probably doesn't take batteries, either.

Re: Black Arts Toneworks
The revelation superbass and the badascan are my favorite BAT pedals I've played. Although I owned a pharaoh and a LSTR and really liked them both. I really want to try a quantum mystic too.
Fwiw, you could use one of the adapters that are usually used to clip to an old pedal's 9 volt battery clip to run it off a power supply and use it in reverse to power non battery pedals off of a 9 volt battery.

Re: Black Arts Toneworks
Same here. I want one, dispite all those knobs actually. My experience with dirt pedals that are overflowing with controls, is that I still use a handfull of different settings at best, which are usually tones that can be found in the 3 knob version of the same pedaljwar wrote:Dude the Boneshaker is fucking awesome and sounds nothing like his other pedals IMO. But I'd stil rather not use a couple controls, than lack one
One other thing though: Too bad the Boneshaker doesn't seem to do the super saturated ungodly high gain thing. Might just be the one PGS demo I checked though, but the part where the distortion control looked dimed didn't sound too menacing with single coils

Came here to suggest ritual.D.o.S. wrote:Love my Ritual.
But damned if I won't be mentioning my Black Forest, just because.
Always wanted a LSTR.
Now I want a Boneshaker as well.
So much BAT, so little monies.
Also, summit, that custom better have the soul of the BF in it somewhere if you're thinking OD!
WWPD?
