As for the FOD - this is a drifferent original thing/overdrive and I think we do not compete at all. FOD is a great pedal!
The original Crushsound Farmer's Mill is a sound grinder which processes sound without any tone alterations being applied. I think Guitarist UK did a very good, short video review. There is no need for lenghty demos since the whole idea was to make a device that is used only from time to time for a few seconds max. Our new pedal will be more explosive but you still need a nice driven/fat sound to make it work right;) We already have a few great clients but this information will be introduced along with the new release. And we are really working hard on a low price for the pedal;)

does the farmers mill just do the choppy trem thing, or can it do more static hiss, pop, & scratch more along the line of the Hexe Melusine? def prefer the later, since can get the chop from alot of pedals

Yes, it's the "choppy trem thing" more than any other features. Yet still it is a bit different thing in the means of time signature operating. Sound stays transparent.
