ive seen those, they seem decent and may be a decent alternative, i was looking at the behringer FCB1010.

I think people generally recommend against the Dunlop power supplies because the outputs aren't isolated, making them not that much different from a Onespot, which is like half the price. Not sure if new ones have changed this.

The 9V outputs can handle up to 1200mA in any configuration.
The 18V outputs can handle up to 800mA in any configuration.

Apart from that all i know it has overload protection etc on it, the last one quoted max draw without noise 375ma without noise, and the new one is advertising double the power

That should only create a ground loop if ive got a tuner or wah thats not on a seperate power supply though right?

Im hoping even if its not isolated it doesnt produce any hum, but until the thing arrives in a months time i wont be able to tell. Just preparing is all.

Also i know the DC bricks are stackable without ground loop problems so could i just get an extra CIOKS for problematic pedals and keep the brick to power additional pedals if board gets bigger

cheers for the advice on that post too, im just jittery cause all ive tested it with is a bulky sega console adapater rated at 9v which was given to me by a local guitar tech, coupled with a daisy chain cable, and the noise becomes unbearable with just the compressor, metal zone and analog delay.

sounds like i should just hold out till the brick arrives, then worry about loopers if i really still want them after i sus out whether im getting any excessive noise

yeah hold out till you get some clean power and you might be fine

that setup should be pretty quiet with good power
