In France we got Year Of No Light, a post-rock metal band, kind of sludgy!

Saw Eagle Twin for the first time a couple months back, not knowing anything about them. Needless to say I left happy.

I like a lot of the bands mentioned but Thou is definitely worth checking out.

The doom band I am in was fortunate enough to share the bill with thou at a house show in West Philly. Very intimate setting for sludge-ness.
