Yowza!
Thanks for the skoolin'.
I just read the chan thread where stuff happened.
Seems to me like a shitty situation that could have so easily been avoided.

A real shame.

It would be swell if he could right this by making super magic chans for the handful of folks who missed out.
Oh well.

I've owned a wolf CPU, a cc/dc and a melx2. All fantastic pedals that I flipped for other shit. I'd love to have them all back at some point, but I know it isn't happening. Also agreed that its a shame he's remembered for the negative stuff, he was such a nice guy. :(

He always seemed nice from what I heard but I'm not really sure about all of what went down at the end. I've got a melx2 and it's nice.

I sure do miss Mellowtone. I've got a 3-knob Singing Tree (my first ILF pedal- I had to email Eric to get on the list cause I didn't have an account here yet), a Wolf Computer, Mini Wolf CPU, and a Super Chan. Oh and a Melx2. Love em all so much. My brother has a Hi-Five that is bloody awesome too. Certainly one of my favorite builders, and I agree with PP about the fun aspect and the graphics.

Hige fan of Mellowtone here too. Have the Party Favour Singing Tree and I think it's my favourite od. Also have a Melx 2 fuzz, and both versions of the CC/DC although my Supa Chan is acting funny and mKes cackling noises when I hit the strings even remotely had.

Always regret not buying a Wizard Fountain when they were available :(

I would be forever greatful if someone would get permission to reissue them. Or even offer to build me one! Did up an attempt at a WF layout after the schematics were posted, but never got around to building it.

Like others have said, his pedals were simple and FUN. Sad how shit eventually went down though.
