OP - A Model T has no real gain to its own tone, its a mainly clean loud amp which is why alot of stoner / doom guys love it, paired with the right fuzz / dirt pedal and its sick. The verellen meat smoke does sound amazing, and works for bedroom setups and direct recording, but for recommendations I'd need to know more likely what tone your going after. What band that uses Model T's are you trying to emulate tone wise? There's some good recommendations here in this thread but we could help nail a certain tone if thats what your going for.

Another hcfx refugee/long time lurker here. Even without the traffic hc has, this place has as much useful pedal threads without all the added white noise.

Also look at the sunmachine colossus. The middle selection is apparently modeled after a Sunn Model T.

I tried the Fuzz 0))) in my buddy's Sunmachine Colossus, and that thing was massive. Super badass.
