That Bass VI is pretty cool. I can actually understand wanting a Jazzmaster pickup in the bridge for more of a round sound. When I had my baritone Jazzmaster I fucking loved having those pickups, they played so well and sounded huge with fuzz.

But that's not a regular JM pickup yeah on that Pawn Shop VI yeah? It's a humbucker in Jazzy clothing I think. Like that pink semi hollow Strat'ish thing from last year. I'm sure it'll sound cool, but I don't think it'll sound like a regular Jazzmaster pickup.

Kinda interested to see the Supersonic in Gun Metal Flake but damn those pickups need some 3-way slider options for real! Switching similar to the Mustang Special would be perfect.

I'm hoping for a Starcaster re-issue. It'll probably never happen but god damn if it does I'm getting two.

Yeah I saw that, I do like Fano guitars but something about buying a beaten up guitar as 'new' makes me cringe. Especially when it's gonna cost upwards of 2k.
Not the same without the WRHB's and the funky headstock though..

Still a good-looking guitar at least, it's good that somebody is at least going that direction instead of another strat or tele copy.
I hope they bring back the swinger too (even more unlikely).

That Bass VI is as good as sold to me as soon as it hits the UK, but am I the only one who finds it a bit iffy that Fender are re-appropriating cult Squiers in their Pawn Shop line and charging about 3x the original price?
Don't get me wrong, the return of the Super Sonic is AWESOME, but you can still get an original cheaper if you wait - they did the same thing with the Squier 51 last year and it just seems a bit off to me. Reissue them as VM Squiers or a new line, don't just jack up the price with a few tweaks and a different decal.
